Gaurang Vyas is Chief Investment Officer at FocusPoint. He previously served as Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the holding company. Mr. Vyas was also founder and CEO of Rise Line Business Credit, an asset based lending platform. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at private investment firm Enhanced Capital, where he sourced and evaluated investment opportunities in specialty finance with a focus on commercial finance. Mr. Vyas was also Co-Chief Investment Officer and Partner at a $1 billion + family office in New York where he played a key role in developing the firm’s investment program across a broad range of asset classes. He led investments in traditional and alternative assets across credit and equity strategies, co-investment, and directs. Prior to joining the family office, he covered specialty finance companies in the financial institutional group at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Vyas has held positions as an engineer in consulting firms and startups. He holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
