Patricia Chalian has nearly 25 years of experience advising alternative investment managers on fundraising and investor relations strategies both in-house and externally. Ms. Chalian is joining FocusPoint as a Managing Director, Head of Project Management. Prior to joining FocusPoint, she served as a Managing Director on the Client Relations team at Intermediate Capital Group. Prior to that, Ms. Chalian founded Silvermine Partners to provide strategic advice to general partners on fundraising and investor relations. Before establishing Silvermine Partners, she was a Managing Director on the Fundraising and Investor Relations team at The Riverside Company. Earlier in her career, Ms. Chalian held positions at M2O Private Fund Advisors, FIRSTavenue Partners, Forbes Private Capital Group (predecessor name to FocusPoint), Apollo Management, JPMorgan Private Bank, Evercore Partners, and Lehman Brothers.
She holds a B.A. in U.S. History from Barnard College of Columbia University. Ms. Chalian is actively involved in the Women's Association of Venture Equity (WAVE), where she serves on the New York Steering Committee, and the Private Equity Investor Network (PEWIN). She also serves on the committee for She Opened the Door at Columbia University, is a member of the Women's Leadership Council at Columbia University, and volunteers with the National Charity League and Staying Put in New Canaan.
